The amazing cast of dancers, musicians, and singers, are the real thing – a travelling carnival of working class Irish talents, most of who have been performing since they were young children. They truly represent the new Ireland, the 21st Century Irish lad and lassie of today. All the members of The National Dance Company of Ireland have been performers in their craft from a very young age. Most started at four or five years old, and worked diligently through their school years, developing their art and personal styles. Touring with “Rhythm of the Dance” is a dream come true for each of them; performing for millions of people, tapping and stomping out the beats of a thousand years in Gaelic history.
