TCPA 2022-2023 Season: Friday, June 23rd
Join us for the inaugural Mike Steed series fundraiser. This annual event opens with the progressive bluegrass band, The Seldom Scene. With an inventive take on bluegrass, The Seldom Scene has displayed both their original material and their interpretations of songs from limitless genres. Help keep bluegrass music in West Georgia by coming to the first of many shows sponsored by the Steed family in memory of Mike Steed.

The Most Incredible Christmas
Audiences were delighted with lovable traditions, songs that capture the spectacle of the season, and reflections on the first Christmas. Set to heartwarming, familiar Christmas tunes from around the world, Most Incredible Christmas was a festive event for the whole family!

One Christmas Night in Memphis
A big Holiday night of rockabilly, country, gospel and pure 1950’s rock and roll with “One Christmas Night in Memphis” – a high energy concert that takes you back to December 4, 1956, the night when four of the biggest names in early rock and roll- Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash- gathered together for an impromptu jam session at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis. This tribute to that memorable night in Memphis features nationally acclaimed cast members who have an uncanny sound, look and feel of the original legends; the production also features an authentic and energetic rockabilly backup band. This thrilling evening allows audiences to witness a history-making rock and roll royalty jam session with the legendary performers whose music has stood the test of time.

Rocky Mountain Christmas with Jim Curry as John Denver
The music of the late John Denver is like an old friend, outlasting trends and standing the test of time. This acclaimed performer Jim Curry’s tribute to the music of one of the most beloved singer/songwriters ever to grace the stage. Artist, Jim Curry, whose voice was heard in the CBS-TV movie Take Me Home: The John Denver Story, has performed Denver’s music in sold out shows throughout the country and has emerged as today’s top performer of Denver’s vast legacy of multi-platinum hits.

A Night in the Roaring Twenties with Alex Mendham & His Orchestra with Special Guests Amanda Castro and the LA Follies
LiveArt returns to the Townsend Center in January 2023 with a uniquely crafted show that combines the artistic talents of world-class performers. A journey with Alex Mendham and His Orchestra as they led us back to the authentic sights and sounds of the Roaring Twenties.

The Mark of Zorro, Starring the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra
TCPA 2022-2023 Season: Sunday, February 19
Paragon Ragtime Orchestra’s programs are real shows inspired by the glamorous presentational style of America’s “Movie Palaces” of the 1910s and ’20s. This live orchestra will bring to life the film, The Mark of Zorro (Douglas Fairbanks, 1920) – the silent original – Hollywood’s very first Action-Adventure movie! Doug Fairbanks thrills audiences with swordplay, romance, and just a bit of comedy.

Rhythm of the Dance
TCPA 2022-2023 Season: Thursday, March 23
This incredible live show creates a new era in Irish entertainment, containing a wealth of Irish talent, featuring World and Irish champion dancers and some of the finest Traditional musicians and singers who are a big hit everywhere. Combining traditional dance and music with the most up-to-date stage technology, this two-hour dance and music extravaganza takes the audiences on an exhilarating and exciting, energy-packed time trip through the ages.

An evening of conversation and dining with actress Kait Haire and playwright Tom Dugan, exploring the development and creation of the play, the role of Mrs. Kennedy, and the crossroads of history and live theater.

Tell Him It's Jackie, Starring Kait Haire
TCPA 2022-2023 Season: March 30-31
Starring Kait Haire and written by playwright Tom Dugan, Tell Him It’s Jackie is a one-woman play about the life and times of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Heralded on the LA scene by Curtain Up! as “Brilliant,” the show run will also offer the opportunity for an evening meal with both the playwright and actress.

The Peking Acrobats, Featuring the Shanghai Circus
TCPA 2022-2023 Season: Saturday, April 15
For the last 31 years, The Peking Acrobats® have redefined audience perceptions of Chinese acrobatics. They perform daring maneuvers atop a precarious pagoda of chairs and display their technical prowess in such arts as trick cycling, precision tumbling, juggling, somersaulting, and gymnastics. They push the limits of human ability, defying gravity with amazing displays of contortion, flexibility, and control. Accompanied by live musicians who skillfully play traditional Chinese instruments, the time-honored Chinese music coalesces with high-tech special effects and awe-inspiring acrobatic feats, creating an exuberant entertainment event with the festive pageantry of a Chinese Carnival.
